1) Create an illustrated metaphor/simile with components of illustration labeled

The illustrated metaphor should tell the story of how imperialism functioned in Africa and/or Asia and illustrate what the major causes and effects of imperialism were.

2) Write a 2-4 pg. (1.5 spaced and typed) paper explaining how your metaphor relates to imperialism in Africa and/or Asia. Explain how imperialism functioned overall, what the major causes were and what the immediate and long-term effects were. Support your explanation with specific details and examples.
